This review is for their Senior Sales Rep, Ahmed Messaoudi. I med Ahmed when I went to test drive the car. I told him I liked it but my husband wanted nothing to do with coming to a dealership (thanks to awful car buying experiences) and Ahmed said no problem! My husband bought the car online through a less painful process with Ahmed and then Ahmed PERSONALLY DELIVERED THE CAR TO MY HOUSE! I really appreciate his customer service. He wasn’t annoying or pushy—just top notch service. He said he’s been there for other 20 years and I’m not surprised. He’s a professional! Thank you Ahmed!

My experience with the dealership and the service center has always been wonderful. Recently my car was having a starter issue and BILL my service advisor went above and beyond to get my issue resolved in a timely manner. He stayed after hours just so he can make sure I didn’t need any further assistance. Thank you Bill for providing such a great experience with my car needs!

Dakota on the Joyce Koons team reached out from Manassas to Chesapeake, VA. He covered details on all available and incoming models, answered questions on features/options/aftermarket accessories, and followed up multiple times while we looked for a comparable price from our local dealers. He let us know when the vehicle we wanted arrived in a shipment from Indiana before anyone else got their hooks into it. Dakota connected us with Tim Welton in Sales. Unlike other dealers we contacted, Tim e-mailed us an out-the-door price that no local dealers could or were willing to match. Tim went over discounts, financing and payment options, and helped us submit disabled veteran paperwork for a sales tax refund. Quality service, quality product, and it was well worth a four hour drive from Chesapeake for the value and customer service at Joyce Koons. Double thumbs up all around!

I recently left my car at the dealership night drop to have the service department check out some noise coming from the front left tire. I got a call from Karen Huntington, one of their service advisors, shortly after they opened the following morning. Karen and the service staff were able to confirm that there was a worn down wheel bearing for my wheel, and also found a part in my alternator needed to be replaced as well. The service team was able to have both things finished after about four days (after a part had to be ordered and shipped). During this time, Karen was responsive and kept me updated on everything going on. My Ridgeline was turned back over to me and had no issues since. The service team at this location has been doing regular maintenance/recall work on my cars for the past six years and never had any issues. They have a good workflow and can usually give an accurate guess to when the job will be done and will communicate if they find other things with the vehicle. They never billed me for any services that I was not intending on doing. Also, shoutout to the one technician who was there closing up when I came in to pick up my car. Due to my work hours, I wasn’t able to get there till just after close around 8:15 PM. The technician spent a few minutes with me and verified I processed the service paperwork and got my keys and car back to me. Good staff at this location, very appreciative of all their hard work.

After having a frustrating time with two well-known dealerships in the NoVa area, I was very turned off with the purchase process I in buying a new car. I was ready to take an extended break from buying. Then, Tim Welton, Sales Manager at Joyce Koons Honda reached out to me. Tim is honest. He started with, and maintained an attitude of,"I am here to earn your business". He was exact with numbers and we agreed on an out-the-door price on the exact package I wanted within a day. There were no estimates, "abouts", "close to"...to the penny, I paid for my Honda Passport Trailsport exactly what Tim and I agreed to. It was refreshing to work with someone who speaks so directly and delivers on what they say. Dakota Smith was the Sales Representative that I worked with on the day of delivery. Not only was Dakota easy to work with, he facilitated the purchase process in an effortless manner. Fernando Lacayo was the Finance Officer who made the sale official. Fernando was very efficient, explained the entire process in a very understandable manner, and was super friendly. This team, with Tim's leadership, made the entire purchasing process easy. I highly recommend Joyce Koons Honda and encourage anyone who wants to work with an honest, direct, no-nonsense Sales Manager, ask for Tim Welton.
